What is VinGrow?

VinGrow is a vineyard management software package designed for small to mid sized companies aiming for quality winegrowing information. It is designed to record and deliver information on vineyard operations, stock management, historical production information, analytical information and aims to aid in regulatory compliance with record keeping. It currently keeps and reports vineyard operations, maturity data, operations history, vineyard, block and variety details, lab analysis, stock records, ordering, invoicing and despatch among other features.

What features does VinGrow have in the Vineyard?

Currently VinGrow allows you to track, all your vineyard operations from pruning through to harvest, including maturity data on many vineyards and blocks within vineyards and store information on blocks such as varieties and clones. Information such as spray diaries and block/variety information is available to give to the wineries to help meet there Label Integrity Programme requirements and export spray demands.
The software is being continually expanded with the eventual aim to have crop prediction, met data and soil analyses all incorporated into the information database in future upgrades.

VinGrow has comprehensive stock management features that include purchase ordering, stock taking, ordering, invoicing and despatch as well as real time updates to stock levels with items used in vineyard operations.

Who develops and supports VinGrow?

VinGrow is developed and supported by Users of the system from within the wine industry. VinGrow is not an accounting package nor was it developed by computer programmers locked away in small rooms. We have a strong wine industry background and have had 6 years experience developing software packages related to the wine industry. We have developed the software with the experience gained in working with companies in New Zealand, USA and Europe and in conjunction with winemakers that have used the system and are continuing to suggest developments and improvements. Our existing Winery system is in use in many small to medium sized wineries some of whom are listed below.
The interface is graphical and should be familiar for those of you who have used any standard office software, there are many of the same keys strokes and functions as most windows programs.

Minimum System Requirements:

This package requires Windows XP operating software or higher. Any entry level system that is for sale at the moment should comfortably run the software. So if you are currently looking at upgrading anyway then we would recommend it as it makes the whole experience more enjoyable.
